THIS IS HOW IT WORKS: COMBI TANK
Fresh cold tap water flows into the tank
The water is heated to 110˚C in the Quooker tank. Heating the water to this temperature sterilises the water. The HiTaC® water filter purifies the water.
When the water flows out of the boiling-water tap, the water cools from 110˚C to 100˚C and boils.
The water is well boiled and is at the ideal temperature for coffee and tea.
In the mixing valve, cold mains water and boiling water from the tank is mixed to provide instant hot water to the mixer tap. The hot water temperature can be set between 40 and 60˚C via an adjustment dial on the valve.
